The governors of Osun and Oyo States, Ademola Adélékè and Sèyí Mákindé, respectively, will today presenttheir 2025 budget proposals to their state Houses of Assembly.
In Osun State, Governor Adélékè will unveil the 2025 Appropriation Bill at the Osun State House of Assembly in Osogbo.
The budget presentation follows a series of Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum Meetings held across the state, where residents provided valuable insights and suggestions to inform the budgetary process. Governor Adélékè emphasized that the budget aligns with constitutional requirements and aims to address the state’s fiscal future.
Meanwhile, in Oyo State, Governor Mákindé presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill at the House of Assembly Complex in Ibadan.
This presentation also followed Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum Meetings held across the state’s five zones, gathering inputs from residents. Governor Mákindé highlighted that the 2024 budget performance had reached 64 percent by November, demonstrating the administration’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
Both governors outlined their visions for their states’ financial priorities in the coming year, focusing on economic growth, infrastructure development, and the welfare of their citizens. The budget presentations mark a significant step in the budgeting process, ensuring that the proposed budgets are submitted for legislative scrutiny and approval.
