The Lagos State Government has announced the termination of the work-from-home policy for public servants.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has directed all civil servants to resume full on-site work starting April 1, 2025.
Initially introduced in February 2024 to ease economic hardship, the policy allowed civil servants from levels 1 to 14 to work remotely two days a week.
However, with the implementation of the new minimum wage and other welfare measures, the state government has decided to end the remote work initiative.
