The iconic Cocoa House in Ibadan, Oyo State, has been renovated for the first time in 59 years.
The upgrades include improvements to the ground floor reception, car park, and surroundings.
At the commissioning ceremony, Governor Seyi Makinde, represented by Chief of Staff Segun Ogunwuyi, emphasized the administration’s commitment to preserving the legacies of the region’s founding fathers.
Bimbo Ashiru, the board Chairman said the renovation is part of efforts by the Odu’a Investment Company Limited to modernize the historic building while maintaining its significance as a hub for business and tourism.
