Ibadan Airport to close for Six Months

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced that the Ibadan Airport will be closed for six months starting in early March 2025.

Michael Achimugu, Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection made this known on Friday via his X handle.

“Subject to new information, Ibadan airport may be shut down for six months for maintenance/upgrade, starting from early March,” the tweet read.

This closure is necessary to allow for essential maintenance and upgrades to transform the airport into an international hub.
