French investors and economic specialists have shown interest in putting money into the agriculture and tourism industries of Cross River State.
Florent Mangin, who is the head of the Regional Economic Department for Nigeria and Ghana at the French Embassy, revealed France’s plans during a visit to Peter Odey, the state’s Deputy Governor, in Calabar.
Mangin mentioned that the French business sector is keen to collaborate with the Cross River State Government in key areas and to engage in infrastructure projects.
He stated that the partnership aims to boost economic growth and development in the state.
Mangin thanked the Cross River State Government for the warm welcome extended to him and his team by various government agencies since their arrival.
Welcoming the French delegation, the Deputy Governor highlighted the state government’s eagerness to collaborate with France and other non-state entities to promote economic development.
He expressed gratitude to the French government and its business community for their commitment to supporting the state’s initiatives.
