The Federal Government, States, and Local Government Councils shared a total sum of ₦1.424 trillion as Federation Accounts Revenue for December 2024.
This was announced at the January 2025 Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting held in Abuja.
The revenue comprised distributable statutory revenue of ₦386.124 billion, distributable Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of ₦604.872 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of ₦31.211 billion, and Exchange Difference revenue of ₦402.714 billion.
From the total distributable revenue, the Federal Government received ₦451.193 billion, State Governments got ₦498.498 billion, and Local Government Councils received ₦361.754 billion.
Additionally, ₦113.477 billion (13% of mineral revenue) was shared as derivation revenue to the benefiting States.
