President (Asíwájú) Bọ́lá Ahmed Tinúbú – GCFR has announced that his government has not depended on the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) for the past three months.

Speaking during a press conference on Monday, Tinúbú emphasized that this shift marks a significant step towards economic independence and sustainability.
Tinúbú stated, “For the past three months, our government has not relied on NNPCL for our financial needs. This is a testament to our commitment to diversifying our economy and reducing our dependence on oil revenue.”
