EnterpriseNGR empowers over 100 graduates

EnterpriseNGR, a member-led advocacy group has empowered over 100 young graduates through its Youth Enterprise (YOE) internship programme to address unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria.

The second cohort’ graduation ceremony held on Wednesday, brought a lot of top employers in the financial and professional services sector, senior HR professionals, industry leaders, graduating interns and many aspirant Nigeria graduates willing to pursue successful careers.

The YOE internship Programmes will helps to equipping Nigeria youths with the opportunities and skills needed to fit into the global job market.

Adaora Obikili, head of retail products at Chapel Hill Denham, acknowledged as a founder member of EnterpriseNGR and sponsor of the Cohort II awards spoke on the benefits of long-term investment as a way to financial freedom and a fulfilling retirement.

The three overall best graduating intern and top performing groups were praise for their excellent presentation with gifts: The overall best-graduating intern and the winning group received investments worth N250,000 each, while the group that placed second got investments worth N100,000 for each member and the group that placed third got investments worth N50,000 for each member.

The CEO of EnterpriseNGR, Obi Ibekwe, praised the graduating class for their commitment and program as every stage involves the graduate Aptitude Test, orientation and final placements in prestigious firms to enable them graduate successfully and she also expressed gratitude to Chapel Hill Denham for sponsoring the awards.
