The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adeniyi, announced that the service collected N6.1 trillion in revenue in 2024, marking a 90.4% increase from the N3.2 trillion recorded in 2023.
He revealed this during a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.
Adeniyi also noted that the service surpassed its 2024 revenue target of N5.07 trillion by 22%. The highest revenue collection was recorded in October, with N603 billion collected during that month.
