Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of petrol from ₦950 per litre to ₦890 per litre, effective from February 1, 2025.
Group Chief Branding and Communication Officer Anthony Chiejina disclosed the change in a statement released Saturday night.
This decision is a response to the positive outlook within the global energy and gas markets, as well as the recent reduction in international crude oil prices.
The refinery aims to pass on the benefits of this price reduction to consumers, with the final selling price expected to drop from around N1,000 to approximately N950 per litre at filling stations.
