Adesina ready to serve Nigeria and Africa

The outgoing President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, has expressed his readiness to continue serving Nigeria and Africa in any capacity after his tenure at the regional bank.

During an interview with Arise Television, Adesina emphasized his commitment to making a positive impact, stating, “I will be available to serve in any capacity, globally, in Africa, anywhere, including my own country.”

Adesina, who was first elected as the 8th President of AfDB in 2015 and re-elected for a second term in 2020, highlighted that his primary motivation is seeing the lives of people transform.

He also mentioned that he believes in divine providence and sees himself as an instrument in the hands of God to help people.
