Mr. Ibrahim Gaga has been appointed by President Bola Tinubu to the position of Executive Director, Corporate Services, at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank.
“President Tinubu appoints new Executive Director at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank,” said a statement signed by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Advisor to the President on Media and Publicity, on Wednesday.
Gaga is a lawyer with more than 25 years of expertise in both legal services and the financial industry. He served as NEXIM Bank’s board secretary and legal adviser prior to being appointed.
The President expects that Gaga will “bring to his new role renewed zeal and diligence to enhance NEXIM’s mandate of providing finance, risk mitigation services, accurate trade and market information,” said Ngelale.
Prior to this, Tinubu had given his approval for DCG Kemi Nanna Nandap to take on the role of Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service.
