The Transmission Company of Nigeria has said it has begun the restoration of the National Grid.
This is coming hours after the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress suspended its indefinite strike.
“At about 3.23am, however, TCN commenced grid recovery, using the Shiroro Substation to attempt to feed the transmission lines supplying bulk electricity to the Katampe Transmission Substation,” it said.
The Transmission Company had earlier blamed the NLC for shutting down the National Grid on Monday.
