Slain Soldiers: Wanted Delta Monarch reports ‘self to Police

King Clement Ikolo Oghenerukeywe, the traditional ruler of Ewu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State has reported himself to the Police Command in the State.

He is one of the eight persons declared wanted by the Defence Headquarters in connection with the killing of 17 military personnel in Okuama community.

Ikolo was reported to have arrived the state police command headquarters at exactly 6:41pm on Thursday to turn himself in to the Delta State Police Commissioner, Olufemi Abaniwonda.

Shortly before that, he has maintained his innocence while briefing pressmen stationed at the Force Headquarters.

Currently, he is in custody of the Police and that has been confirmed by the authorities.

Apart from the Monarch, others that were declared wanted are Prof. Ekpekpo Arthur, Andaowei Dennis Bakriri, Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (Aka Amagben), Akata Malawa David, Sinclear Oliki; Reuben Baru, and Igoli Ebi.
