Hunger protesters, as early as 6:00am, on Thursday began meeting at designated spots across the Federation.
This is in fulfilment of the nationwide demonstration that has gained traction over the past one month.
Protesters in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) converged on the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
Recall, it was reported that protesters in the capital city have been restricted by the Court to the MKO Abiola Stadium.
In the Ojota area of Lagos State, Protesters are not in sight.
However, men of the Lagos State Police Command are fully on ground.
In Rivers State, protesters have commenced meeting in front of the popular Port Harcourt Pleasure Park.
In Owerri, the capital city of Imo State, it is unusually quiet. Banks, markets, and business establishments are closed.
In the South Western city of Abeokuta, the capital of Ògùn State, roads seemed deserted while security operatives were positioned at/to strategic locations.
Thursday witnessed a significant security presence at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos State as protesters gathered to demand an end to bad governance.
