Team Nigeria, composed of Emmanuel Ojeli, Ezekiel Nathaniel, Dubem Amene, and Chidi Okezie, has been disqualified from the men’s 4x400m relay at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday.
The disqualification occurred due to a lane infringement, where one of the athletes stepped on the line during the race.
As a result of Nigeria’s disqualification, South Africa has qualified for the Men’s 4x400m Relay final after successfully appealing, claiming they were impeded during the race.
