One person has reportedly died, and six others have sustained various injuries in an accident at the Sagamu Express junction in the Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The accident occurred around 9:48 am on Sunday, according to the spokesperson for the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi.
Akinbiyi, in a brief statement to journalists, revealed that the accident involved a Bus Mass Transit vehicle and a truck.
He said, “There is a fatal road traffic accident involving a BMT bus and a truck at the Sagamu Express Junction. One person is presumed dead, and six others have sustained serious injuries. Rescue operations are ongoing.”
