Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos receiving Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun after the latter's arrival at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State in one of the Govenors' recent meetings

Southwest governors are currently meeting behind closed doors at Lagos House, Alausa, Lagos State.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is hosting his counterparts.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, alongside Dr Obafemi Hazmat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos, received Governors Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Ademola Adeleke (Osun) and Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti) at the Lagos House, Ikeja.

The meeting is coming amid the back and forth between the Nigerian Government and the organized labour over a new national minimum wage.

While the Organized Labour is insisting on ₦250,000, the Nigerian government had proposed ₦62,000.

There are indications that Labour may resume its nationwide strike from Tuesday if the Nigerian government fails to heed its demands.
