The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has formally presented the ceremonial beaded crown to High Chief Rashidi Ladoja, former Governor of Oyo State, who doubles as the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The prestigious ceremony took place at the Olubadan Palace in Oke Aremo, Ibadan, marking an important milestone in the traditional hierarchy of Ibadanland.
The event signifies Ladoja’s official acceptance of his new title, solidifying his position within the leadership structure of the ancient city.

Ladoja had previously announced his decision to accept the crown during a live radio program in Ibadan.
Since that announcement, his private residence in Bodija has seen a constant stream of visitors, all coming to offer their encouragement and congratulations for this new chapter in his life.
