Siminalayi Fubara, Governor of Rivers State, has nominated caretaker chairmen for the 23 local government areas in the state.
The list was transmitted to the three-member Pro-Fubara Rivers State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Victor Jumbo.
In a statement issued on Tuesday night by the Clerk of the House, G.M. Gillis-West, the Assembly invited the nominees for screening on Wednesday by 8:00 am.

24hrs ago, Governor Fubara ordered the LGAs Chairmen to hand over to the Heads of Admin in their respective LGAs following the expiration of their tenure.
However, some Chairmen disobeyed the order, and relied on the elongation of their stay in office by the Pro-Wike House of Assembly. This led to crisis in the state which resulted in the taking over of all Secretariats by the Rivers State Police Command.
