Children aged 8-13 and youths took the bull by the horns and hit the streets of Jalingo on Thursday afternoon to protest the prevailing hardships.
“Bamu ai, bamu ai,” which translates to “We don’t agree, we don’t agree,” was chanted by the children to draw attention to the challenges being faced by Nigerians.
The protest started on the well-known Hamaruwa Way and moved towards the flyover bridge, a significant city landmark.
The participants, mainly children and teenagers, were outspoken about their grievances, calling for immediate action to alleviate their suffering.
