There is currently a significant security presence at Government House, Kano, due to the ongoing royal dispute, according to a Daily Trust report.
Security personnel are stationed at key locations, although they are not preventing movement in and out of the facility.
Top security officials, who previously met with the 15th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, are now gathered inside the government house for another meeting.
Meanwhile, Governor Abba Yusuf, who accompanied Emir Muhammadu Sanusi to the palace earlier on Saturday, remains there.
