For the umpteenth time in two weeks, Kajuru-Station community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State experienced one of the worst start to a week as terrorists launched an attack and took away residents numbering 87 on Sunday.
It was learnt that the village was invaded around 10:00pm.
Residents confirmed that the terrorists also broke into some shops and carted away food items and other valuables.
Barely two days ago, 14 residents were abducted in the Dogon-Noma community of the same local government.
It was explained that no contact has been established yet with the abducted 87 on Sunday night.
“As of the time I visited the community this morning, security operatives have not been drafted to help restore the confidence of the villagers,” revealed a resident.
“The villagers are traumatic with the sad development. The government needs to re-strategise in tackling these terrorists.”
