Nadeem Anjarwalla, the official of Binance, a cryptocurrency giant, who fled Nigeria has been arrested by the Kenya Police Service.
The International Criminal Police Organisation, is also working to extradite him to Nigeria before the week ends.
According to a report by The PUNCH, Government sources familiar with the case confirmed the arrest on condition of anonymity.
“Binance executive, Nadeem Anjarwalla, has been arrested by the Kenya Police Service, and he would be extradited to Nigeria this week by INTERPOL,” a source said.
“As we had said before that Anjarwalla would be extradited, he has been arrested in Kenya, and he’ll be extradited to Nigeria this week,” Another source disclosed.
A while ago, it was reported that the Federal Government has traced the Binance executive to Kenya.
“We have found him. We know where he is; he is in Kenya, and we’re working with the authorities to bring him back to Nigeria,” a source close to the FG revealed.
