The US House of Representatives approved a $61 billion aid package for Ukraine on Saturday.
Additionally, it approved $8.12 billion for the Indo-Pacific region and $26 billion in funding for Israel.
The bills, which enjoyed broad support from both parties, will be sent to the Senate with another important piece of legislation.
One voter abstained, while 210 Democrats and 101 Republicans supported the aid to Ukraine.
Yet 112 Republicans abstained from voting for the aides. With 193 Republicans and 173 Democrats voting in favor, the Israel bill passed 366–58.
The House-passed bill is probably going to be discussed by the Senate on Tuesday.
Mitch McConnell, the minority leader in the US Senate, commended the House for approving the laws pertaining to foreign aid.
