Bandits Tuesday launched attacks on communities in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing 3 people in the process.
Two people were killed when the miscreants attacked a community close to Anguwar Tanko Dogon Sarki settlement of the Kakangi constituency, Birnin Gwari LGA around 9:00 am.
The bandits reportedly killed a villager and went away with seven individuals in Rafin Gora village, located two kilometres from the Dogon Dawa area of the constituency around 7:00 pm on the said day.
The incident at Anguwar Tanko Dogon Sarki was confirmed by a member of the Birnin Gwari Progressive Emirates Union, who also mentioned that the bandits held some villagers hostage at Tashar Keji village under the Kakangi constituency of Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state.
