Nigeria’s flagbearer, Tobi Amusan, the reigning world champion and world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles, did not advance to the final of the women’s 100m hurdles event at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday.
Amusan finished third in the semi-final missing out on automatic qualification.
The 27-year-old also finished 9th overall in the final standings.
The world record holder was one of the favourites to win gold medal in the event.
However, her wait for an Olympic medal goes on.
