Nigeria has retained its position as Africa’s largest oil producer, according to the latest report from the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). In November 2024, Nigeria’s oil output increased to 1.48 million barrels per day (bpd), up from 1.33 million bpd in the previous month.
