His passing was announced on Wednesday, April 10, by filmmaker Sam Olatunji, who revealed that the actor died with three others after their boat capsized on their way to shoot a movie. For the umpteenth time in 2024, The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has adjusted the foreign exchange (FX) rate for import duties to ₦1,238.17 per dollar. The new rate falls below the official foreign exchange rate, which closed at ₦1,248.5/$ on April 9 at the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM). An 18-seater commercial vehicle (Danfo) carrying passengers crashed on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos on Wednesday. The African Development Bank, AfDB, disclosed that it has secured $110,000 in funding for Ekiti State to aid the development of the State Electricity Priority Plan (SEPP).
