On Thursday at the Federal High Court, Abuja, Justice Binta Nyako denied the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPO), Nnamdi Kanu bail. However, the court ordered the speedy hearing of case as requested by Adegboyega Awomolo (SAN), Counsel for the FG involving Kanu who is facing charges bordering on treasonable felony. The National Association of Nigerian Students has proposed that the repayment should begin five years after NYSC. According to them, it is not logical to expect beneficiaries of the loan scheme to begin repayment two years after the completion of the National Youth Service Corps because less than 10 per cent of graduates get integrated into the labour market within the period.
