The 15 students abducted at the Qur’anic school in Sokoto State have regained their freedom. Two weeks ago, the students were kidnapped at Gidan Bakuso village in Gada Local Government Area while trying to escape attack on the community by bandits. Results of the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination, the first of its kind for Private Candidates, 2024–First Series has been released by the West African Examination Council (WAEC).
