The Federal Government has announced a temporary halt to the controversial $300 helicopter landing fee imposed on helicopter operators. Helicopter operators have protested against the fee, which was outsourced to a consultant, Messrs NAEBI Dynamic Concept Limited. The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, SAN had earlier defended the levy imposed on the helicopter operators. The Presidential CNG Initiative announced that the Nigerian federal government has finalized plans to introduce 5,000 Compressed Natural Gas-powered tricycles within the next three months.
