South Africa’s former president Jacob Zuma was involved in an overnight car crash after a vehicle transporting him was hit by a drunk driver, according to a statement by the Police. On Thursday, the Naira experienced a slight depreciation at the official market, trading at ₦1,309.39 to a dollar. Relying on data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ, it was revealed that the Naira lost ₦8.96 or 0.69 per cent, compared to the previous day’s (Wednesday) rate of ₦1,300.43 against the dollar.
