The Nigerian Communications Commission has announced in a statement that voice, and data services affected by undersea cable cuts have been reinstated. Reuben Muoka, NCC Director of Public Affairs disclosed that services have now been restored to around 90 per cent of their peak capacities. On Monday, a Rivers State High Court convicted and sentenced five people to death by hanging for the murder of Umezuruike Alex Umezuruike Alex was the commander of a local vigilante codenamed OSPAC which is the shortened form of Onelga Security Peace and Advisory Committee in Omudioga community in Emohua Local Government Area of the state.
