A truck conveying food items has been reportedly looted by some residents of Ondo state amid the current hardship ravaging the country. It was gathered that the driver of the truck was overpowered by the citizens after his vehicle developed a mechanical fault at the cultural centre junction on Ondo express road. The Federal Government, on Monday, announced a new price of natural gas for power generation companies. Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), revealed the new domestic base price and wholesale prices of natural gas for 2024, raising it up to $2.42 per metric million British thermal units, from the previous rate of $2.18mmbtu. A fire incident that occured in the early hours of Tuesday razed many shops at Owode Market in Offa, Kwara State.
