The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in all 17 local government chairmanship seats in the just concluded local government council election in Yobe state. The party also won all the 178 councillorship seats in the state. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has accused the administration of his predecessor, Abdullahi Ganduje of leaving the education sector to rot. Nigeria’s foreign reserve currently stands at $32.80bn. This is according to a data on the website of Nigeria’s apex bank. The new figure highlighted an increase of $110m from $32.69bn on May 31. According to the data, the upward movement has been consistent over the past one week, with the reserve experiencing an increase from $32.74bn on June 3 to $32.77bn on June 4 then $32.79bn on June 5 before the current value.
