The Government of Zamfara has imposed a ban on political office holders, heads of agencies, and civil servants from granting interviews, issuing statements, or participating in programs on radio, television, and social media without prior permission. A driver has been arrested by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad attached to the Lagos State Police Command for stuffing 15 children into a Volkswagen Passat car. According to reports, the driver was contracted to take the children to a beach. However, he locked four of the children in the car trunk while 11 others were crammed together. Former Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF, Mohammed Bello Adoke, has been cleared of money laundering charges by an Abuja Federal High Court. Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja, upheld Adoke’s “no case” submission against the money laundering charges against him. Alhaji Abdulmutalib Jankada, the traditional ruler of Sansani chiefdom in Gassol local government area of Taraba state has been killed by unknown attackers.
