The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to declare a state of emergency in the state. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has denied the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari bail. Justice Emeka Nwite, who presided over the court held that Kyari’s bail is at the discretion of the court in line with section 161 (2) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act. The Chadian massive military ammunition depot in capital N’Djamena was destroyed by Fire late Tuesday.
