Zacchaeus Adangor, Rivers Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General has rejected his redeployment as Commissioner for Special Duties. He further tendered his resignation from the state executive council. Earlier, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers reshuffled his cabinet and redeployed Zacchaeus as the commissioner for Special Duties (Governor’s Office). In the resignation letter, which was addressed to the Secretary to the Rivers State government, Zacchaeus rejected his new office. Operations of Dana Air has been grounded by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Aviation. The decision was announced by Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation. The decision is sequel to an incident involving a Dana Air plane which crash landed at Lagos airport on April 23, and subsequently forced aviation authorities to divert flights from local to international airport. 14 recovered assets, on Wednesday, were handed over by the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ola Olukoyede, to Governor Peter Mba of Enugu State. The incorporation certificates of two subsidiaries of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), NIPOST Transport and Logistics Services Company Ltd and NIPOST Properties & Development Company Ltd have been invalidated due to irregular procurement practices, according to the Corporate Affairs Commision.
