Workers at South Korean tech giant Samsung began a three-day general strike over pay and benefits on Monday. In the first quarter of 2024, Nigeria’s expenditure on servicing the debt incurred for building its railways far exceeded the revenue generated by its railway system. This is according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics which explained that the country spent 2,470% more on servicing railway debt than it earned from railway services revenue.
