Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s ascent to the presidency, according to Vice President Kashim Shettima, is not a coincidence but rather the result of a divine blessing based on his sincerity of heart.
This was revealed by Mr. Shettima on Friday during a courtesy visit to the Presidential Villa in Abuja with a delegation of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, or NCPC.
“The road that led to the Tinubu Presidency did not happen by chance. This is a man whose trajectory is characterised by making sacrifices for the good of the nation.
“The President’s success is a Divine blessing which is a reward for the purity of his heart,” he said.
Mr. Shettima emphasized the significance of leaders making investments in bridge construction, emphasizing the importance of Tinubu’s services in giving the Nigerian political system a substitute platform.
“President Tinubu made sacrifices and built bridges. He was a veritable sanctuary for victims of political witch hunts.
“When other governors were struggling to have a seat at the dining table with former President Olusegun Obasanjo way back then, he provided an alternative platform for the Nigerian political system,” he said.
As a result, Mr. Shettima pleaded with Nigerians to exercise patience with their president, who is not by accident a leader, as he successfully steers the nation’s affairs.
Mr. Shettima asked the NCPC’s recently appointed Board to show unshakable dedication to responsibility.
