Yakubu Aiyegbeni, a former striker for the Super Eagles, has stated that Mohammed Salah, a winger for Liverpool, is not a top player.
On the list of African football players with the most Premier League goals, Aiyegbeni comes in at number five.
With 154 goals in 252 games, Salah has more goals than the Nigerian.
But Aiyegbeni believes that players like Sadio Mane, Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha, Yaya Toure, and Didier Drogba are superior to Salah.
“It is my view that Salah is not up to par. He is not a skilled ball player, and most of his goals come from luck.
“Okocha, Drogba, Kanu, Yaya Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor, and Sadio Mane are the best African players in the Premier League,” Yakubu stated on Talksport, according to quotes obtained by Football Factly.
