Nigerian music sensation Burna Boy has urged Nigerians to stop comparing him with the late Afrobeat founder and activist, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
This comes after Burna Boy faced criticism for detaining his colleague, Speed Darlington, for allegedly defaming him.
In a statement on social media, Burna Boy emphasized that he is not Fela and that the constant comparisons need to end.
He stated, “I’m not Fela, I’m BIG7. I’m all about positivity, peace, and prosperity but honestly, I’d rather kill you than die for you.”
