Popular controversial rapper, Darlington Okoye, known as Speed Darlington, has been granted bail after spending nearly a month in police custody.
He was arrested on November 27, 2024, during a performance in Owerri, Imo State, linked to his comments about Afrofusion star Burna Boy and his alleged connection to American rapper Diddy Combs.
Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, confirmed the bail, expressing relief and gratitude.
The rapper’s release has been met with excitement from his fans, who have eagerly awaited his return to the music scene. Alieke mentioned that Speed Darlington would be arraigned within 48 hours or released on bail.
