The Nigerian Senate is set to review the controversial Tax Reform Bill with the Attorney General of the Federation.
This follows Deputy Senate President Senator Jibrin Barau’s decision to suspend further actions on the bill on Wednesday.
Senator Barau announced that the AGF would meet with the committee to ensure all parties have the opportunity to express their concerns, aiming for a rational conclusion.
The review process is scheduled to take place in Abuja on Thursday, December 5.
Senator Anna Moro, the chairman of the bill review committee, along with her team members, is expected to meet with the AGF today. They will address the contentious issues related to the tax reform bills, which have sparked various concerns nationwide.
