Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2030.
The 20-year-old Colombian joined Villa in January 2023 in an £18m transfer from MLS side Chicago Fire, initially signing a deal until 2028.
Despite attracting interest from Chelsea and West Ham during the summer, Duran stayed at Villa and has been in impressive form this season, scoring six goals, including the winner in a 1-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Duran has also netted decisive goals in Premier League matches against West Ham, Leicester, and Everton.
Since joining Villa, he has scored 14 goals in 56 appearances and has earned 12 international caps, scoring once for Colombia.
