Raphaël Varane has announced his retirement from the beautiful game of Football.
This happened shortly after joining Serie A side Como from Manchester United.
After an exceptional career at top clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United, and winning the World Cup with France, Varane sought a new challenge in Italy’s Serie A.
However, according to a post on the defender’s Instagram handle, they say “all good things must come to an end”.
However, the Frenchman revealed that he’ll remain with Como, albeit in a non-playing role which he promised to share information on at a later date.
Having already played in major leagues like Ligue 1, La Liga, and the Premier League, Varane was excited about the prospect of playing in Italy, but his injury has led to his retirement.
