Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has counseled Nigerian parents to inquire about their children’s income source in order to prevent premature death.
During an event, the actor shared a video of himself talking, which he shared on his own Instagram account.
It can be seen in the video that Kanayo.O. Kanayo spoke directly to the parents in attendance, stressing the importance of closely monitoring their kids’ financial activity. He sent a warning to parents in Nigeria, telling them to be wary of their children’s wealth sources to protect them from any potential harm.
He highlighted an example, saying: “Your daughter is 20 years old, and she no dey work, she carries a phone of 1.5 million, and you too, you’re saying ‘praise the lord, my daughter has bought a phone.’ And then she’d dash you ₦100,000, ₦200,000, and you don’t ask questions. You won’t live long.”
He asked parents to exercise caution in light of young people exhibiting ostentatious lifestyles without obvious sources of money.
Kanayo. O. Kanayo noted that one risk that some parents ignore is their children’s lack of curiosity regarding the source of their sudden prosperity. To protect and safeguard the welfare of their children, he emphasized the significance of looking into the financial elements of their lives.
“This is the reason why so many parents are dying; some parents may not be employed, but they will still show up with vehicles and cash, and their parents won’t question them. “Parents, heed my warning. You have no idea who your son killed to purchase that car, or what devil your child collected it from you would just thank God,” he said.
The actor voiced concerns about circumstances in which people who do not appear to be working acquire substantial riches. He continued: “Parents, it’s a warning I’m giving you, nobody wants to die young.”
He reiterated in the post’s description, “PARENTS!!!! PARENTS!!!!! PARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ask questions before you accept gifts or die young. This is why many parents are dying young. ORIKO”
