Fans of the Super Eagles no longer need to fear as Victor Osimhen is cleared to play in Wednesday’s AFCON semifinal matchup against South Africa.
Babafemi Raji, the team’s media officer, reports that the 24-year-old trained with the squad on Tuesday after joining them in Bouaké.
“Victor Osimhen has been declared fit and available for selection in the semi-final clash against South Africa on Wednesday,” a post on the team’s handle captioned ‘Super Eagles Camp Update,’ read. “He has joined the team in Bouaké and has trained with the squad today.”
The Super Eagles media staff had announced the day before that Osimhen would be watched in Abijdan while the rest of the team traveled to Bouake, the venue of their match against South Africa.
