The League Management Committee (LMC) of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) has removed referee Bashir Saidu from officiating in the league.
This is sequel to his decision not to award a penalty yesterday in a the match involving Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ìbàdàn and Rangers International of Enugu at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba Ìbàdàn.
The news was contained in a memo sent by the NFF Refereeing Development Committee/Unit through the Sokoto State Football Association to Referee Bashir Saidu.
