Gareth Southgate, England’s manager has named his final 26-man squad for the EURO 2024 Tournament in Germany.
European National Teams have until 11pm on Friday to release their final squads.
But rather than wait until Uefa’s deadline, the England boss decided to announce the final cut on the eve of their final pre-tournament friendly against Iceland.
Jack Grealish and James Maddison missed the cut for England’s Euro 2024 squad, with the long-serving Harry Maguire also missing after failing in his battle to be fit for Germany.
Inexperienced quartet Jarrad Branthwaite, Curtis Jones, James Trafford and Jarell Quansah unsurprisingly miss out.
England’s 26-man squad:
Goalkeepers: Henderson, Pickford, Ramsdale
Defenders: Dunk, Gomez, Guehi, Konsa, Shaw, Stones, Trippier, Walker; Alexander-Arnold
Midfielders: Gallagher, Mainoo, Rice, Wharton; Bellingham, Bowen, Eze, Foden, Gordon
Forwards: Kane, Palmer, Saka, Toney, Watkins
