1. Do things Upside Down

What this literally means is doing things the other way round. For example you could try to read your watch upside down or read a book upside down. What this will do is challenge you into thinking critically to get what you are reading right.

2. Engage in Activities That Stimulates All your Sense Organs at the Same time

Such activities include camping, hiking, travelling, shopping and so on. When you perform these activities, you see, touch, smell, feel and sometimes taste as is in the case of shopping.

3. Meditation

Meditation is like a push up for the brain because it involves doing something that is quite difficult for the brain to do, and that is staying quiet and not pouring out thoughts to us. If you can successfully train yourself to successful meditation, then you are on your way to an improved memory retention ability.
